HTH CORPORATION

HTH Corporation has promoted John Lopianetzky to general manager of Pacific Beach Hotel. He will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the 837 room oceanfront hotel in Waikiki. He had been the hotel's director of food and beverage since August 2003. He is a former chef instructor at Kapiolani Community College's Culinary Institute of the Pacific.

HAWAII INTERNATIONAL REAL ESTATE COUNCIL

The Hawaii International Real Estate Council recently announced its 2008 officers: Serving as president is Steve Terada, president of Terada Real Estate, a commercial and residential real estate sales and consulting services firm. Terada succeeds Judith Sykes. Other officers include: president-elect, Laisin Lee, East Oahu Realty; secretary, Phoebe Chrisman, realtor; and treasurer, Kathy Tswei, of Pan Pacific Realty.

AMERICAN CIVIL LIBERTIES UNION

The American Civil Liberties Union of Hawaii has selected DANIEL GLUCK as senior staff attorney.

MISSION HOUSES MUSEUM

Elizabeth Nosek has been named senior curator of collections and education at the Mission Houses Museum. Her duties include caring for the objects in the museum's extensive collection of 19th century missionary artifacts and developing public exhibitions and programs.
