People's Choice music video voting opens Sunday

The People's Choice voting ballots, a prelude to the second Brown Bags to Stardom next year, will begin at 7:30 p.m. Sunday on OC16, where viewers can look at and vote for three new high school music videos.For the first time, entries from the Big Island will be part of the mix.
Voting may be done in three ways:
i Cell phone text message, at 723-2277. Weekly episodes will include a tag with an assigned text number to punch in on a cell phone, with voting under way for two hours after each show.
i Via OC16's interactive remote controller, with balloting possible only at 7:30 p.m. Sundays, with a designated alphabet (A, B, C) with corresponding school names under each letter choice.
i Online, at the Brown Bags website, www.brownbagstostardom.com, with a voting link displaying three videos each week; one vote allowed per day, per e-mail address.
The schools featured for the first six weeks:
i Dec. 16 Hana, Campbell, Waianae.
i Dec. 23 Waianae, Maui, Kamehameha.
i Dec. 30 Farrington, Honokaa, Punahou.
i Jan. 6 Lahainaluna, Waianae, Kapolei.
i Jan. 13 Farrington, Punahou, Maui.
i Jan . 20 Waipahu, Kamehameha, Kapolei.
