Surf of 6 to 8 feet expected along northern shores

Advertiser Staff

Surf along the north-facing shores of O'ahu is expected to reach 6 feet to 8 feet today, according to the National Weather Service.

Surf of 3 feet to 5 feet is expected along east- and west-facing shores, while south-facing shores will likely see surf of 2 feet to 4 feet.

Another northwest swell Thursday will produce surf under the 15-foot high-surf advisory level for north-facing shores. Surf from the trade wind swell will increase and approach the 8-foot advisory level for eastern shores by Friday.
