Salt Lake Christmas parade to include floats, music

The First Assembly of God, Moanalua Gardens Missionary Church, Hope Chapel Pacific and Kalihi Union church will join together to provide the Salt Lake community with a new

holiday event: a Salt Lake Christmas Parade at 7 p.m. Dec. 21.

There will be marching through Salt Lake with Christmas floats, a band, passing out candy canes, Christmas song and an appearance by Mayor Mufi Haneman.

The parade begins at Moanalua High School and will end at Salt Lake Elementary School. (Ala Ilima Street, Ala Lilikoi Street and Ala Lilikoi Place will be closed during the parade.)
