TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE

"Kid Nation" finale, 7 p.m., CBS. Here's another reality show wrapping up. It doesn't have an ultimate winner, but tonight three kids win gold stars, each worth $50,000.

OF NOTE

"Deal or No Deal," 7 p.m., NBC. In an expanded edition, to fill the strike-depleted lineup, contestants can take a chance on doubling or tripling their total, or cutting it in half.

"Pushing Daisies," 7 p.m., ABC. Yes, there still are a few scripted shows that have new episodes. In this one, Paul Reubens returns to his fun role as Oscar Vibenius, now trying to figure out Ned's secret.

"1968," 6 p.m., History Channel. If you missed this terrific film Sunday, catch it now. Tom Brokaw brings perspective and depth to the year when everything seemed to change.

"Private Practice" and "Dirty Sexy Money," 8 and 9:02 p.m., ABC. Current plans call for rerunning the season openers of both shows. "Practice" had an excellent one, with Naomi failing to tell anyone she'd hired Addison. "Money" had a poor one, with an honest lawyer reluctantly working for a troubled family.

"Kitchen Nightmares" finale, 8 p.m., Fox. Gordon Ramsay visits a California restaurant and gets in a shouting match. Now, there's a surprise.

"Hogfeather," 8 p.m., Ion. This darkly clever two-parter concludes with Death trying to fill in for a Santa-like chap.

"CSI:NY," 9 p.m., CBS. Practical jokes gone wrong? A murder victim's body has traces of disappearing ink and exploding cigar.
