TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE

"Survivor: China," 7 p.m., CBS. Everything changed two weeks ago when James Clement was ousted. Clement, a muscular grave-digger, had two immunity idols, but was tricked into failing to use either one. The coup — engineered by Amanda Kimmel, 23, a hiking guide — opened things up. Last week, things returned to normal with the ouster of Erik Huffman, a musician. That leaves five people fighting for four spots in Sunday's finale. There's Todd Herzog, 22, a shrewd flight attendant; Peih-Gee Law, 29, a jeweler; Courtney Yates, 26, a painfully thin waitress; Denise Martin, 40, a school lunch lady; and Kimmel. All have a shot at the million-dollar prize.

OF NOTE

"30 Rock," 8 p.m., NBC. The office Christmas party brings a flood of guest stars. There's Liz's parents (played by Buck Henry and Anita Gillette) and her brother (Andy Richter), who still thinks he's in high school. And Elaine Stritch, 82, returns as Jack's mother. Last season, she won an Emmy (her third) in that role.

"The Office," 7 p.m., NBC. Here's the rerun of a funny episode from last season. Competing factions are planning simultaneous Christmas pageants. Michael (Steve Carell) is too bummed to go to either; Carol (Nancy Walls, Carell's wife in real life) has just broken up with him.

"Ugly Betty," 7 p.m., ABC. In this rerun, Betty is tempted by an offer from Wilhelmina.

"Under the Tuscan Sun" (2003), 6 and 8:30 p.m., WE. Diane Lane is excellent in this gently paced story of a busy woman who impulsively buys a villa in Tuscany.

"Grey's Anatomy," 8 p.m., ABC. In a rerun from early in the season, Cristina gets another sign that Burke will never be back: His mom (Diahann Carroll) returns to get his stuff.

"CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," 8 p.m., CBS. Warrick is scrambling to prove he didn't kill an exotic dancer. Others investigate the murder of a socialite who was involved with illegal dog fighting.

"Saturday Night Live Christmas," 8:30 p.m., NBC. Scrambling for survival during the writers' strike, NBC is using lots of "Saturday Night Live" specials. It has scheduled "best of" compilations in prime time during each Saturday this month; now it reruns this special, which was hosted by Tina Fey and Jimmy Fallon.

"Without a Trace," 9 p.m., CBS. Santa Claus is missing? Sort of; a department-store Santa has vanished and may be into something illegal.

"Big Shots," 9:02 p.m., ABC. Charisma Carpenter, an "Angel" and "Veronica Mars" co-star, guests. She plays a beauty who charms Brody (Christopher Titus).
