'Lost' returns to ABC on Jan. 31

Advertiser Staff

ABC's "Lost'' will return in January, not February as earlier announced, and on a new day and time, as a result of the ongoing writers' strike.

The network announced it would launch the fourth season of "Lost" today, with just eight of the anticipated 16 episodes in the can.

The new season of "Lost" had been scheduled for a February kick-off to enable back-to-back screenings of all 16 episodes. The strike, if it continues, will mean that the Hawai'i-filmed series may find its cupboard of shows bare.

"Lost" will return Jan. 31, replacing "Grey's Anatomy" in the 8 p.m. slot.
