Surf of 7 to 10 feet expected on east-facing shores

A high surf advisory has been issued for east-facing shores where wave faces of 7 to 10 feet are expected today, according to the National Weather Service.Elsewhere, the surf is expected to hit 3 to 5 feet along north-facing shores and 1 to 3 feet along west- and south-facing shores.
No significant swells are on the horizon at this time.
