Soccer: Argentina tops FIFA men's rankings; U.S. 19th

NYON, Switzerland Argentina finished No. 1 today in soccer's world rankings in 2007, winning FIFA's team of the year in the process. The United States men remained at No. 19.The top 10 in the final rankings from soccer's world governing body were unchanged from those in November.
Argentina was first with 1,523 points, followed by Brazil (1,502) and world champion Italy (1,498).
The rest of the top 10 was: Spain, Germany, Czech Republic, France, Portugal, Netherlands and Croatia. European champion Greece stayed at No. 11, one point ahead of England.
