  • Defensive end Ikaika Alama-Francis of Detroit, a Kalaheo High and UH alum, had three tackles and two assists in a 51-14 loss to the Chargers.

  • Safety Aaron Francisco of Arizona, a Kahuku High alum, had six tackles in a 31-24 loss to the Saints.

  • Defensive tackle Ma'ake Kemoeatu of Carolina, a Kahuku High alum, had three tackles in a 13-10 win over the Seahawks.

  • Punter Mat McBriar of Dallas, a UH alum, had seven punts for a 50.1 average with a long of 58 in a 10-6 loss to the Eagles.

  • Linebacker Kawika Mitchell of the New York Giants, who was born in Honolulu, had two tackles and one assist in a 22-10 loss to the Redskins.

  • Drew Brees, Saints, connected on 26 of 30 (86.7 percent) passes for 315 yards and two touchdowns in New Orleans' 31-24 win over Arizona.

  • David Garrard, Jaguars, threw three TD passes and went 17 of 33 for 197 yards to lead Jacksonville over Pittsburgh 29-22.

  • Fred Taylor, Jaguars, rushed for 147 yards and scored the decisive TD in Jacksonville's 29-22 win at Pittsburgh.

  • Jamal Lewis, Browns, ran for 163 yards in Cleveland's 8-0 win over Buffalo.

  • Marques Colston, Saints, had 114 yards receiving and a TD in New Orleans' 31-24 win over Arizona.

  • Greg Camarillo, Dolphins, had the first TD catch of his career, a 64-yard scamper in overtime to give Miami its first win of the season 22-16 over Baltimore.
