High surf advisory continues for east shores

A high surf advisory for east-facing shores remains in effect until 6 p.m. today for east-facing shores, where surf is expected to be 5 to 8 feet, according to the latest National Weather Service forecast.Surf along north-facing shores will be 2 to feet and south and west shores will see surf 1 to 2 feet.
Surf along east shores will gradually subside as trade winds ease over the next couple of days. A small west-northwest swell is expected Thursday, and will decline through Saturday. A moderate northwest swell will arrive late Saturday and Sunday.
