Hawaii index up for first time in six sessions

The Bloomberg-Honolulu Advertiser Hawai'i Index rose for the first time in six sessions, led by Central Pacific Financial.The 11-member stock index climbed 0.89 points to 91.87, as eight issues rose, two fell and two remained unchanged.
Central Pacific Financial increased 4.9 percent, or 90 cents, to $19.43. Alexander & Baldwin increased 59 cents, or 1.1 percent, to $52.02.
Cyanotech jumped 4.3 percent, or 5 cents, to $1.22.
