Big Island search finds no trace of hiker

Big Island fire unit conducted an unsuccessful search yesterday for missing hiker Brian Murphy within the Waikahalulu Gulch area on Mauna Kea.A friend of Murphy accompanied a search party of four firefighters and a dog. The search turned up no new evidence on Murphy, who was last seen Dec. 5.
