More showers for windward, mauka areas

Clouds and showers will be favoring windward and mauka areas as trade winds persist into the weekend, the National Weather Service said.

Today: Isolated showers after noon. Partly cloudy, with a high near 82. East wind around 17 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Tonight: Scattered showers, mainly after midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 69. East wind around 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.

Wednesday: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a high near 82. East wind around 16 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Wednesday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 70. East wind around 13 mph.

Thursday: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a high near 82. East wind around 14 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
