SALT LAKE
Christmas parade Friday offers marchers, Santa

Advertiser Staff

A Christmas parade will go through the Salt Lake area Friday night.

The Salt Lake Christmas Parade will begin at 7 p.m. at Moanalua High School, proceed to Ala 'Ilima Street, Ala Liliko'i Street, Ala Liliko'i Place and end at Salt Lake Elementary School by 8 p.m. Parade organizers warn drivers that those streets will be closed during the parade.

The event is expected to include about 400 marchers, a fire truck carrying Santa, eight floats and a band featuring select Moanalua High School students and church members. Local elected officials are also expected to participate.

The event is sponsored by the First Assembly of God, Moanalua Gardens Missionary Church and Hope Chapel Pacific.
