Suspect charged with Kalihi stabbing, beating

Advertiser Staff

Prosecutors last night charged a 51-year-old man with beating and stabbing his former girlfriend in Kalihi.

Michael Neil Hart is accused of second-degree assault and first-degree terroristic threatening. His bail is $20,000.

During a 1:50 a.m. meeting yesterday to discuss their relationship, the woman told police, Hart became angry and allegedly bit her nose before stabbing her on the right arm with a sharp object.

The 6-foot, 210-pound Hart has a criminal record with three convictions.
