Last 'Christmas Talk Story' shows at libraries this week

Advertiser Staff

Three Oahu public libraries are scheduled to host a free performance of the Honolulu Theatre for Youth's "The Very Best of Christmas Talk Story" today through Friday, Dec. 19 to 21:

i Kalihi-Palama Public Library, today at 6 p.m.

i Kailua Public Library, tomorrow at 6:30 p.m.

i Pearl City Public Library, Friday, Dec. 21 at 2 p.m.

Since the Honolulu Theatre for Youth will be changing its Christmas format in 2008, this will be the last year of "Christmas Talk Story," an HTY holiday tradition that has celebrated local writers for the past eight years.

"The Very Best of Christmas Talk Story," features HTY actors performing popular original Christmas tales, and live holiday music.

These one–hour complimentary performances are provided by the Honolulu Theatre for Youth, and are recommended for ages 5 to adults.

For more information, call the hosting library: Kalihi-Palama, 832-3466; Kailua, 266-9911; or Pearl City; 453-6566.
