Police seek man in abduction attempt

Advertiser Staff

Police are looking for a man who allegedly jumped into a woman's car and tried to kidnap her.

On December 12, at about 1:25 p.m., a woman was in her car in the parking lot of Don Quijote Store at 94-144 Farrington Highway when a man she didn't know pushed her into the passenger seat and tried to drive away.

The woman screamed for help, and a passer-by came to help her. The passer-by was able to pull the man from the woman's car and the would-be kidnapper fled before police arrived.
