Mostly sunny weather with a few showers expected

Trade winds will continue to blow at a moderate pace and will weaken further as the weekend approaches, according to the National Weather Service.

Clouds and showers will favor windward and mauka areas of all islands.

Here's how the next few days are shaping up:

Today: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a high near 77. East wind around 16 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 70. East wind around 13 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph.

Thursday: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a high near 77. East wind around 14 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Thursday night: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 70. East wind around 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Friday: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a high near 80. East wind around 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Friday night: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 70. East wind around 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
