Christine Camp elected Police Commission chairwoman

Christine H. Camp was elected chairwoman of the Honolulu Police Commission at a commission meeting Wednesday.Keith Y. Amemiya was elected vice chairman.
Camp is president and CEO of Avalon Development Co., a real estate developer.
Amemiya is currently the executive director of the Hawaii High School Athletic Association, which is the governing body of high school athletics in Hawaii.
