Shinto shrine to celebrate Hatsumode 2008

The Hawaii Kotohira Jinsha-Dazaifu Tenmangu, the Shinto shrine at 1239 Olomea St., will celebrate annual Hatsumode 2008 from midnight to 5 p.m.
Hatsumode 2008 will feature the traditional New years blessing, Shishimai Lion Dance and complimentary bowls of ozoni mochi soup.
Admission is free. Additional parking at Damien School; free shuttle runs continuously until 3 p.m.
