Two charged with Diamond Head vehicle break-ins

Prosecutors today charged two men with breaking into vehicles at Diamond Head State Monument park.Justin Kaanoi, 26, of Keolu Hills and Shane Kealii Kaui, 39, of Makiki Heights were charged at 9 a.m. with two counts each of unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and unauthorized possession of confidential personal information.
Police arrested the two men Tuesday at the park between 8 and 8:30 a.m. on suspicion of breaking into two vehicles. The men were in possession of stolen property, police said.
Kaanoi and Kaui are each being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
