Firefighters extinguish Chinatown fire

Firefighters extinguished a stove fire on the 23rd floor of the Mauna Kea Tower apartment building at the corner of Maunakea Avenue and Kukui Street.No injuries were reported.
Police blocked off streets in the area.
The alarm was received at 7:35 p.m. Firefighters at 7:53 p.m. declared the fire out.
