Churches team up for Waimanalo outreach fair

Hawaii Kai Church will partner with First Baptist Church Waimanalo for the first annual Waimanalo Community Outreach Fair tomorrow.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church Waimanalo, the two churches will pass out hundreds of free hot meals, plus 500 Jamba Juices and refreshments to homeless and lower-income families.

Volunteers will distribute truckloads of canned goods, toys, school supplies and household and clothing items. Native Hawaiian healthcare system Ke Ola Mamo will provide education and early detection screenings. Keiki arts and crafts and local entertainment will be featured throughout the day.

First Baptist Church Waimanalo is located at 41-568 Flamingo St. in Waimanalo, off Kalaniana'ole Highway. Free parking will be available.
