Cause of Ewa fire undetermined

Investigators say they have been unable to determine the cause of a fire that injured a 3-year-old 'Ewa Beach boy on Thursday.Officially, the cause of the fire at 91-1323 Maliko St. will be listed as undetermined pending any new evidence, officials said today.
A smoke alarm in the home helped all of the occupants escape, but the boy was injured by the fire.
Damage was estimated at $200,000 to the structure and $50,000 to the contents, firefighters said.
