Police seek armed robber who invaded Kaneohe home

Honolulu police are looking for a man who broke into a Kane'ohe home and tied up the homeowner at gunpoint before fleeing with jewelry and other valuables.

The robbery occurred on Malio Place in Kane'ohe at about 3 p.m. Tuesday.

A man with a black handgun approached the homeowner who was outside his house, and asked about warrants before forcing his way into the home.

The suspect tied up the victim, searched the house and took jewelry.

The suspect fled in a black Toyota Tacoma in an unknown direction.
