Hawaii gas price one-third higher than year ago

The average price of a gallon of regular gasoline in Hawai'i has risen 32 percent in the past year to $3.81, according to figures on the American Automobile Association's fuelgaugereport.com Web site.The price in Honolulu rose about 63 cents a gallon, or 23 percent, to $3.368 compared to a year earlier.
