'BLUES CO-OP' TO PERFORM
A meeting of the "The Honolulu Blues Co-op" is set for 7:30 p.m. Dec. 29 at the Atherton Performing Arts Studio. The concert will feature slide guitarist Rick Smith; Larry Spalding on blues uke and harmonicas; Ian Chames on bass; James Ganeko on drums, and special guest Rico on street guitar. MLK DAY MARCH, RALLY
The 20th annual Martin Luther King Jr. celebration is set for Jan. 21. The parade will begin assembling at 7:30 a.m. at Magic Island. The route winds through Waikiki. A post-parade unity rally will be held at Kapi'olani Park.
