In the first case, a 25-year-old man was found hiding in the attic of a Liliha home, with stolen goods in his pocket. The homeowner arrived at his door, heard noises and called police, who arrested the man without incident.

In the second case, a 21-year-old man was arrested inside the Kalihi home. That homeowner arrived at his house just in time to see the suspect entering through some louvered windows. He called 911 and waited until police arrived to arrest the man.
