Fire damages Big Island home in Pahoa

An early morning house fire in Pahoa today caused an estimated $200,000 damage, Big Island officials said.The fire on Mayzee Road heavily damaged the top floor of a two-story wooden structure, Hawai'i County firefighters said.
The blaze was reported at 7:32 a.m. and under control in about 30 minutes.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
