HBA girls romp in ILH Division II opener

Narissa Fujii scored 15 points and Keline Yoshimura added 11, leading host Hawai'i Baptist to a 63-25 victory over Lanakila Baptist in the Interscholastic League of Honolulu Division II season opener for both teams.

The Eagles took a 17-4 lead after one quarter and led 37-10 at halftime.

All 10 Eagles players who played in the game scored at least two points.

Sarah Butler scored 15 points to lead the Warriors.

Punahou, which will play Benson (Ore.) tonight at 7:30, led 23-19 at halftime and took a 34-32 lead into the final quarter.

Mario Gill scored 17 points and Derrick Hayes 11 for Wilson.
