Suspect sought in robbery of Nanakuli gas station

A man allegedly armed with a knife robbed an express gas station on Farrington Highway this morning and was last seen on foot heading toward Wai'anae.

Initial police reports describe the suspect as 5-feet-8, 170 pounds with a light complexion and in his 20s or 30s. He has long hair that was in ponytail and he was wearing an orange jacket, black pants and tennis shoes.

The robbery occurred at about 6:45 a.m. at 87-1942 Farrington Highway.
