Concrete Coring acquired by California-based Penhall

Advertiser Staff

Concrete Coring Company of Hawaii Inc. has agreed to sell its assets to California-based Penhall Co.

Terms of the sale, which has yet to be finalized, were not disclosed.

Penhall officials said the company will focus on continued growth in the Hawai'i market "and that retention of all employees will be a key component to continued success."

Concrete Coring Co. president John Neff will stay on after the transaction, which is expected to close in March, Penhall officials said.

Penhall describes itself on its Web site as "the largest provider of concrete cutting, breaking, excavation and highway grinding services in the United States."
