Surf on the rise along most shores

Advertiser Staff

Moderate northwest swells will continue the rest of the week and raise surf to near advisory levels, the National Weather Service said. Strong trade winds will likely produce advisory-level surf along eastern shores, too.

This morning, surf along north-facing shores will be rising to 10 to 14 feet by Monday morning and surf along west-facing shores will rise from 2 to 4 feet to 6 to 8 feet.

Eastern shores will see trade-wind produced surf 6 to 8 feet, and surf along south shores will be 2 feet or less.
