The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for the Haleakala Summit until 6 p.m. today.East winds are expected to increase to 30 to 35 mph, with higher gusts through today.
A wind advisory means winds of 30 to 45 mph are expected, making driving conditions difficult.
