Fire guts Maui restaurant and bar

Maui officials said that a fire reported at 12:56 a.m. today caused an estimated $200,000 in structure damage and $150,000 in damage to the contents of Charley's Restaurant and Bar in Pa'ia.There were no injuries reported and the business was not open at the time.
Five fire engines responded and the fire was extinguished at 2:42 a.m. The cause of fire is under investigation.
