New Energy savings firm EnerTech Hawaii launches

EnerTech Hawaii Inc., a new Kona-based energy conservation company, is offering its services to business on the Big Island, O'ahu and Kaua'i.EnerTech can help businesses save as much as 25 percent on their electric bills by installing more efficient lighting and air conditioning systems, chillers, motors and ultraviolet-rated window tints, said company President Mark Ravelo.
"Replacing older T-12 fluorescent (lighting) with newer T-8 technology will offer a savings of at least 45 percent on lighting alone," Ravelo said.
EnerTech is an authorized affiliate of Enercon International and carries its full line of products and technologies that will work in conjunction with photovoltaic systems.
Most systems installed by EnerTech pay for themselves in energy savings within a 12- to 18-month period, said Ravelo, a former 'Aiea resident who now lives in Kailua-Kona. For more information, call (808) 987-9355.
