Highway lane closures continue through Friday

The state Department of Transportation is advising motorists of single-lane closures on Farrington Highway in both directions between Kaukonahua Road and Ka'ena Point in Waialua today through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for lane striping and pavement marking installations.

There will also be single-lane closures in both directions between Ala Akau Street and Kili Drive in Makaha through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for lane striping and pavement marking installations.

There will also be a 24-hour left-lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in the northbound direction between Waihau Street and Waikalani Drive through Friday.

Portable concrete barriers will be closing the left lane 24-hours-a-day for shoulder widening and curb construction. Work hours are from 8:30 a.m. through 3 p.m., daily.
