The Blood Bank of Hawaii is scheduled to hold a blood drive Jan. 5 at Pearlridge Center, outside the Uptown main entrance.

The drive will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information about the Blood Bank of Hawaii and donating blood, visit www.bbh.org

Pearlridge has also scheduled a free "Pali Momi Health Screening" event on Jan. 7 in Uptown, fronting Cookie Corner.

The screening services, from 7:45 to 9:30 a.m., will include blood pressure and blood sugar level testing.
