High-surf advisory continues for east shores

Advertiser Staff

Surf along east-facing shores will be 7 to 10 ft. with rough and choppy conditions throughout today.

After rising to 6 to 8 ft. overnight, surf on north-facing shores will lower to 3 to 5 feet.

Surf along west- and south-facing shores will be in the range of 1 to 3 ft.

Strong trade winds will keep surf at advisory level along east-facing shores into the weekend. A northwest swell arriving tomorrow will be below advisory level on the north shore.
