Wind advisory issued for Maui, Big Island

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for Maui, Kahoolawe and the lower elevations of the Big Island this morning.A strong high pressure system far northeast of the islands will produce strong and gusty trade winds through tonight.
Winds will be sustained at 20 to 35 mph with occasional gusts near 50 mph.
