Superferry cancels Friday trips; Saturday is marginal

Advertiser Staff

The Hawaii Superferry today canceled all voyages for Friday due to high sea conditions, and said it may have to cancel Saturday trips as well.

Tomorrow will be the third day in a row that the Superferry was unable to operate due to high seas.

Passengers on the Friday voyages will be contacted to make alternative arrangements, the company said.

"Currently, voyage status for Saturday is marginal," the company said.

The company said: "If you were a passenger booked on a canceled voyage, our reservations agents will be contacting you to assist with either rebooking or to obtain a refund. Note that our call center is receiving high call volumes which may make it difficult to get through if you call in.

"To check the voyage status by phone, call 1-877-443-3779 and press Option 1 then Option 2."
