WASHINGTON — Excise taxes on domestic segments of air travel and the use of international facilities will rise slightly in 2008, the Internal Revenue Service said Thursday.

The excise tax for international flights that begin or end in the continental U.S. is $15.40, an increase of 30 cents, while the tax on use of international air facilities that begin or end in Alaska or Hawaii will rise 20 cents to $7.70, according to the IRS.
