TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE

"Ice Age" (2002), 7 p.m., Fox. Yes, there really are family-friendly shows on the networks, especially this month. This animated film has a good-hearted mammoth (Ray Romano) trying to help a human baby. There are funny moments, especially with John Leguizamo as Sid the sloth.

OF NOTE

Ugly Betty," 7 p.m., ABC. This family-friendly (sometimes) show starts a night of reruns on all the big networks. Freddy Rodriguez of "Six Feet Under" plays a sandwich vendor who draws Betty's attention.

"CSI: NY," 7 p.m., CBS. This fills the "Survivor" spot. In separate incidents, two teens — a skating star and a deaf woman — have been killed.

"My Name is Earl," 7 p.m., NBC. A night of NBC reruns starts with Earl accidentally bringing the break-up of a prisoner and his girlfriend.

"30 Rock," 7:30 p.m., NBC. Last week, NBC yanked this show at the extremely last minute, so we'll have to see what happens tonight. The network says it has the episode in which Jack and his nemesis (Will Arnett) are expecting the GE chief (Rip Torn) to step down.

"The Office," 8 p.m., NBC. While negotiating his staff's pay, Michael starts to think about his own.

"Grey's Anatomy," 8 p.m., ABC. Izzie finally tells a friend about her feelings for George, drawing a negative reaction.

"CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," 8 p.m., CBS. This is the episode that introduced the notion that the "miniature killer" was a serial killer.

"Without a Trace," 9 p.m., CBS. A stunt man has disappeared from the set.

"ER," 9:01 p.m., NBC. Gates helps a homeless boy, then breaks his promise to not contact authorities. Meanwhile, holiday-time romances start.
