Very slow going on Pali Highway due to fallen tree

Traffic is continuing to stack up in the town-bound lanes of Pali Highway.A tree fell onto the highway about 6:20 a.m., leading police to divert traffic onto Nu'uanu Pali Drive.
Police reported that as of 7:30 a.m., town-bound traffic on Pali Highway was backed up all the way to the Kailua side of the Pali tunnels.
Police estimated all of the lanes may be reopened in about by about 7:50 a.m.
