Hawaii stock index posts slight decline

The Bloomberg-Honolulu Advertiser Hawai'i Index fell for a second consecutive day as local stocks had a mixed trading day.The 11-member stock index declined 0.14 points to 96.02, as five issues gained, five declined and one remained unchanged.
Among shares that declined, Hoku Scientific fell 41 cents to $11.56.
Central Pacific Financial was off a similar amount in declining 2.2 percent to $18.24.
Cyanotech led gainers, rising 23 percent, or 21 cents, to $1.33.
