JAPANESE DANCE RECITAL

"Maizome," the Hanayagi Dancing Academy's annual recital, is set for 1p.m. Jan. 19 at Mission Memorial Auditorium. Students will perform various dances and shamisen numbers. Free, 381-1859.

LEEWARD PERFORMANCE

'BLUES CO-OP' COVENING

A meeting of the "Honoluu Blues Co-op" is set for 7:30 p.m. tomorrow night at the Atherton Performing Arts Studio.
