O'ahu motorists traveling on the North Shore are being advised that a traffic contraflow is scheduled over the Kokololio Bridge on Kamehameha Highway in Hau'ula on Thursday and Friday, Jan. 3 and 4, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for construction work on the makai-side bridge railing.

According to the state Department of Transportation, one lane will be closed and traffic will be directed through the remaining open lane. Motorists are being asked to use caution when driving though the affected work area and to allow for additional travel time. The roadwork is being done weather permitting.
