The Hawaii Children's Discovery Center will ring in the new year tomorrow with a party for kids. Partygoers will decorate hats, design their own noisemakers, and toast 2008 with apple juice following a balloon drop at noon.

The New Year's at Noon party is set for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the center, 111 'Ohe St. One-dollar carousel rides will be available, 10 to 11:30 a.m.

Admission is $6.75 for kids ages 2 to 17, $8 for adults, and $5 for seniors (with photo I.D.). Parking is free at Kaka'ako Waterfront Park.
