CAST YOUR VOTE

Now it's up to you, dear readers: Go to HonoluluAdvertiser.com/ weddingcontest and vote for the couple you want to win a luxury wedding worth $30,000.

Read their essays and watch their videos to help you make your choice. How it works:

  • One vote per e-mail address (not IP address) will be allowed. This allows each member of the family to have his own vote.

  • You have 10 days to log your votes, from today. The last vote will be tallied Jan. 8.

  • The winning couple will be revealed at a private ceremony for all four finalists at the Kahala Hotel and Resort. You'll read all about the happy winners in Island Life on Jan. 18.

    Love is in the air!

Of the 120 couples who entered the Parasol Events Wedding Giveaway Contest, the finalists have been whittled to these four: a couple who found deep love the second time around; two newly minted nursing grads; high school sweethearts embarking on a life together, eight years later; and a pair who found love on the job.

Now, it's up to the readers to decide who will win a free wedding from Parasol Events for the lucky couple and 50 guests (estimated value: $30,000) on March 31, based on who has the most romantic story in Honolulu.

Read why they believe their relationships will go the distance, and watch video of each of the four couples, then go to HonoluluAdvertiser.com/weddingcontest to choose whose love seems to you to be built to last through a lifetime. Please, one vote per person (or e-mail address).

The final four were chosen by Tom and Bobbie Merrill, relationship experts and co-authors of "Settle for More: You Can Have the Relationship You always Wanted ... Guaranteed!" (www.settleformore.com), who looked for couples who expressed deep feelings of early love and exhibited ways to preserve and strengthen the connection they had found.
